Fifteen years in mathematics education along with experience in engineering and software development.

I am a student of my students as I continually refine methods to invite, cultivate, and celebrate thinking in the classroom. My professional interests include pedagogy, cognitive psychology, curricula, teacher development, and educational leadership.

My teaching experience includes both upper and middle school mathematics. I currently teach middle school at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Georgia and previously taught at The American Overseas School of Rome, The International Community School of Singapore, and Marietta High School.

I sit in awe when watching Lionel Messi, and I cheer most fervently for Manchester City. I do not like beets, arugula, or guacamole. I admire people who are committed to helping others.

I believe the Oxford comma is practical, elegant, and proper.
